Buddhas on the road
Today, Megumi took us out to temple #4, in Yokoze. It's known for the many, many statues of the buddha, and kannon (quan-yin), large and small, filling its grounds.

If you get to Brisbane while the Asia-Pacific Triennial is still on at the new GOMA, check it out. There's one piece which is a collection of Buddha feet -- the left over bits from when statues are stolen.
